NW SolarFest Celebrates 15 Years
The NW Solar Fest is celebrating year 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., July 28, at Shoreline Community College. Bring the family and visit the KIDZone to get a solar mini-car, build a birdhouse and participate in many other activities. Curious individuals can talk to local solar installers and see what solar solutions are right for them.
Tour tiny houses, see the latest in electric transportation and test ride an electric bike. Visit booths that highlight products, services and information that can help with choices that leave a cleaner, safer planet for our children.
Since 2004, NW Solar Fest has been produced by the Shoreline Solar Project, which spearheaded Shoreline's first public solar installation at Meridian Park School. NW Solar Fest is the largest, longest-running sustainability fair in the Puget Sound region. Learn how to live a more sustainable life.
Free admission and parking. Location: 16101 Greenwood Ave. N., Shoreline, west parking lot. For more information, call Maryn Wynne at 206-306-9233 or visit NWSolarFest.org
